This week we’re highlighting the ad agency of the century – Italian adagency Dicaprio.
The agency’s name has become synonymous with advertising, but the firm also has a reputation for quality and innovation.
In Italy, Dicacri has a history of being instrumental in bringing new forms of advertising to the market, particularly through the introduction of new products such as the new line of “sophisticated” branded food, which Dicas has worked on with local brands such as Papa John’s, Parma and Pizzeria Locale.
This week, we’re taking a look at some of the ad campaigns Dicadri has created for Juventus and Serie A clubs, including a commercial that’s based on the infamous Nike ad.
A classic in its own right, the Nike ad in which Nike’s slogan, “You Can’t Go Home Again,” is parodied by the players of the football team was first launched in 2007, but has since been a regular fixture in the media.
It’s a great reminder of what football is all about, and why Dicakrio has become such a force in the industry.
Dicapri’s first major ad campaign was for the 2015 UEFA Champions League final, which was the first to include the slogan.
The ad follows a group of Juventus fans on a visit to a stadium, and the player of the team, Gianluigi Buffon, is seen holding a flag as he takes his team’s fans to a new stadium.
The Nike ad uses the phrase “You can’t go home again” as a reference to the iconic ad, and we love how it makes us think of what it would have been like to have seen this ad on TV.
We can’t say we’ve seen this commercial before, but Dicabri has been in the game for years and we can’t wait to see more of their future projects.
